We have long admired and featured La Spinetta on our shelves and at our WineBar.  These are some of Italy's most delicious offerings, coming specifically from Tuscany and Piedmont.  Sangiovese and Nebbiolo (Barolo and Barbaresco!!) are rarely rendered with such fruit-forward graciousness as Giorgio Rivetti's offerings.

 So . . . to once again show these wines as a lineup is pleasurable in and of itself, right?  Now consider the coup of capturing La Spinetta's founder and inspirer on our mezzanine for that evening.  Yes, the dynamic Giorgio Rivetti himself will taste these wines with us while elaborating on their sources and renderings.  Getting him before you has been a personal mandate for several years now, finally about to be realized.
