This sampler provides a fun spectrum of varieties and regions.  Most importantly, each is a thoughtful people pleaser.  We've tried these out on several "test customers":  All were impressed!

 2019 Saint-Cosme 'Deux Albion' Cotes du Rhone - From one of the best producers of Gigondas comes a delicious "little brother" blend of Rhone grapes.  The 2019 vintage was particularly generous in style; lots of dark fruit happens here!

2019 Casale del Giglio Cesanese - This sturdy Roman red was "serviceable" at best, until producers such as this treated it with more respect.  "Red Checkered Tablecloth Wine" ascends to "White Tablecloth"; pizza never had a more worthy wine mate!

2020 Bloodroot 'Undertow' Red - Winemaker Noah Dorrance (formerly of Banshee) fashioned this satisfying blend of Cabernet, Syrah, Merlot, Cab Franc, Grenache, and Sangiovese.  Deliciously multi-dimensional!

2021 Jaffurs 'State Street' Syrah - Our search for a Syrah that all can admire is fulfilled by this longtime "Sideways Country" producer.  Stolpman Vineyard fruit plays a significant role in this fragrant, beautifully-poised rendition of liquid elegance.

2020 Januik Merlot - Washington State makes some of the world's best Merlot, and here's our most recent "liquid data" to support that declaration.  Deeply aromatic, and dark and velvety on the palate, do it the favor of a brief decant.

2021 Torbreck 'Woodcutters' Shiraz - 93 points Vinous, and a producer we've long considered to be one of Australia's best.  Generous, but not "stupid"!!  Torbreck nails it again!
