Guillemot-Michel is a small grower/producer in a very special section of Southern Burgundy's Macon region.  They were among the first to adopt the meticulous/perilous biodynamic farming method, and the positive results are readily apparent in this bottle of beautiful Chardonnay.  Sumptuous and energetic, simultaneously, the wine never saw a barrel.  It didn't need to.  The fruit stands on its own, having mellowed on the lees in stainless steel for one year before bottling.  This is a great example of what respectful farming can provide to wine!
