This is from Faugeres ("huh??") in the Languedoc-Roussillon. It consists of one-third each Roussanne, Vermentino, and Grenache Blanc. Think of Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, then carve that bottle price in half. Mouthcoating yet alive. Made by Pierre Gaillard, a Northern Rhone master. Super rare. Super necessary for fall / winter fare such as cubed, roasted butternut squash and pork roast!
